Community & Parish Life

Sharing the Harvest!

Our Greening Ministry will be setting up a table in the back of Wells Hall during coffee hour on Sundays during the summer so we can share the harvest of our home vegetable and flower gardens with one other. Please…

Cathedral Day 2024

Over 150 people were individually received or confirmed by the bishop in a glorious service at St. Mark's cathedral on Saturday, April 27. Folks from Christ Church accompanied King and Dee Schoenfeld, and Michael and Kathy Collier as they were received into the Episcopal Church.

Practicing Community

Friendships at Christ Church are built over meals, playing, working, living, and loving together. We gather over (good!) coffee and nibbles every Sunday after each morning service. We share soup and salad once a month at Evening Prayer at Table, and we work together to celebrate special occasions with feasts!

Music & Art

Music plays a vital role in the life of Christ Church, both in worship and in the congregation’s outreach to the greater Tacoma community.

Architecture

Paul Thiry’s soaring brutalist sanctuary, with its felicitous combination of natural native materials, wood, concrete, and stained glass, provides an inviting, resonant space for liturgy enhanced by music and the visual arts.
