Over 150 people were individually received or confirmed by the bishop in a glorious service at St. Mark's cathedral on Saturday, April 27. Folks from Christ Church accompanied King and Dee Schoenfeld, and Michael and Kathy Collier as they were received into the Episcopal Church.

Children and families have always been a part of Christ Church. We welcome children (and adults), wiggles and all!

Friendships at Christ Church are built over meals, playing, working, living, and loving together. We gather over (good!) coffee and nibbles every Sunday after each morning service. We share soup and salad once a month at Evening Prayer at Table, and we work together to celebrate special occasions with feasts!

Music plays a vital role in the life of Christ Church, both in worship and in the congregation’s outreach to the greater Tacoma community.

Paul Thiry’s soaring brutalist sanctuary, with its felicitous combination of natural native materials, wood, concrete, and stained glass, provides an inviting, resonant space for liturgy enhanced by music and the visual arts.
