Music plays a vital role in the life of Christ Church, both in worship and in the congregation’s outreach to the greater Tacoma community. Congregational song enriches our worship in hymns, psalms and responses. The Christ Church Choir enhances our liturgies with great music from the 16th century to the present day. Our magnificent Brombaugh pipe organ helps lead congregational singing and is heard in organ masterworks at the opening and close of our worship, and our Steinway grand piano lends its voice in both accompaniment and solos. Music comes to life in the superb acoustics of our iconic sanctuary.

The Christ Church Brombaugh pipe organ has been a centerpiece in the Pacific Northwest music world since its installation and dedication in the fall of 1979.
