Born in the Netherlands, I studied at the Conservatory of Arnhem (NL, New England Conservatory (Boston), and University of Iowa, Iowa City. I arrived in Tacoma in 2002 and worked for Pacific Lutheran University as University Organist until my retirement from that position in 2023.
I started as Interim Director of Music in May of 2022.
I have degrees in organ and choral conducting, but I started on the accordion.
