Christ Church knitters are looking forward to meeting regularly to work on personal and community projects.
Knitters will gather monthly on the second Saturday of the month at 1 p.m. at Ebony and Ivory, a coffee shop located in downtown Tacoma at 1145 Broadway. Ebony and Ivory has good lighting and space for small groups. The first gathering will be Saturday, November 8th and the second one December 13.
Knitter gatherings always include admiring finished projects and work under way, sharing tips, ideas and patterns and just knitting and enjoying the company of others who don’t frown when someone asks “Can you help me learn three-needle bind-off?”
We will also check in with each other as needed weekly at coffee hour on Sunday.
Knitters of all skill levels are welcome. Experienced knitters have offered to tutor beginners. Kits of yarn and needles are available.
