About
David serves as an Acolyte and storyteller for Godly Play, and works as a Teacher’s Assistant for Tacoma Public Schools at Bryant Montessori. They were raised in a Nazarene family and baptized Presbyterian at 13. In 2017, after many years away from any church they were invited to Christ Church by some longtime friends, struck by the beauty and simplicity of the liturgy, the music, and the inviting community of people here.
David began to explore the Episcopal tradition deeply and was Confirmed during Advent 2022. They live just south of 6th Avenue with their partner Savannah and their cat Mu. David is in school for teacher preparation, hoping to become a preschool/kindergarten teacher after they graduate. They are curious about lay spiritual communities and exploring a calling for Oblation into the Benedictine tradition.
