The Monthly Reading Group will meet at 6:30 pm on Sunday, August 2, at the home of Dennis and Liz Johnson to discuss selections from John Milton’s epic, Paradise Lost. The focus will be on the Fall, presented in Book 9, in relation to Genesis 3.
The Monthly Reading Group meets every fourth Sunday of the month (working around holiday weekends) in the home of a parishioner. Each meeting is facilitated by a different participant, and often, discussion questions are sent to ahead of the gathering to get the intellectual juices flowing. The group selects the book together for the next month. An email is sent the week before with the location address and any details for the evening. Everyone is welcome to attend.
