July 20 Services will be led by Reverend Canon Howard Williams representing Food For The Poor

The July 20 Sunday services (8:00 and 10:30am) will be led by Reverend Howard Williams. In addition to being our celebrant and preacher, Rev. Williams will share his extensive experience working on the needs of the poor and specifically as a clergy member of the Food For The Poor organization. Food For The Poor was formed in 1982 with a primary objective of providing nourishment to the poor, and has distributed more than $12 billion worth of medicine, food, water, housing materials, and other aid to the poor of Latin America and the Caribbean to date. Haiti has been a country of particular focus in recent years due to the severe poverty and malnutrition. In addition, Food For The Poor has a child sponsorship program in many of the countries it serves, which is serving over 7,200 orphaned or abandoned children.

Reverend Williams will also be at the Coffee Hour following the 10:30am service and will provide additional information about Food For The Poor and its programs.
