The Daily Office
Morning Prayer includes Prayers, Psalms, Canticles and Scriptures from The Episcopal Church’s Book of Common Prayer and Enriching Our Worship. The text is shown on screen, and participants share in reading the passages aloud. Each service begins and ends with a recorded musical offering. The short service is a peaceful and centering way to start the day.
Lectio Divina is a practice of meditative reflection on a passage of Scripture or other text. Participants listen to a passage three times, engaging deeply with the text as its meaning unfolds and evolves with each reading. Those who wish may briefly share their “take-aways” from the passage with one other.
Zoom links are live 5-10 minutes prior to service time. Be sure to use the link corresponding to the day of the week you are joining. For more information, contact Mary Hanneman.
