As a parish community, we know ourselves to be blessed. As beloved children of God, we recognize our blessings no matter the current social, economic, or political circumstance.

  • We see blessings in being part of this congregation, and we respond by inviting others into our worship and fellowship.
  • We see blessings in being part of this community, and we respond by inviting our neighbors to join us as we share our love of music and worship.
  • We see blessings in being together, and we respond with fellowship and with mutual support. We’ve found an extended “family” with whom we can share our worries and our joys.
  • We are blessed that through our contributions to the wider Church, we share our resources across the region, our nation, and the world. We help to build the church, assist in disaster recovery, provide nutrition, housing, and fight disease.

This is the way we at Christ Church respond to our many blessings: generosity. May we call to mind these innumerable blessings as we prayerfully consider our commitment in the upcoming year to Christ Church with our time, talent, and treasure.  As a parish, we have weathered the storms of these past two years thanks to your generosity and dedication. And now that we are faithfully moving forward together into this next chapter of our church family’s history, we seek your further involvement to embolden our mission and ministry.

We gratefully acknowledge all who have supported Christ Church through financial means or ministry involvement.  You are all vital and needed members of this parish family.

We begin this year’s emphasis on our continual stewardship of God’s bounty, on Sunday, October 16th.  For the next several weeks, we will rejoice and express our gratitude together for all that our Lord has done among this blessed gathering of ‘family and friends.’ We have enclosed a 2023 Pledge Card for your use.  You may mail it to the church office or place in the offering plate.  Please note that Sunday, November 20th, Reign of Christ the King, will be our final Ingathering Sunday.   There will be a festive coffee hour on that day to recognize our common life together.

God’s blessings to each one of you,

Christi McCarren
Senior Warden
