Seeking Another Way: Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Resistance to Corruption, and Living the Sermon on the Mount

In this Winter Course, participants will read short excerpts from his writings (including The Cost) and how these world-famous writings might enlighten our own Christian faith and life. The last class will be with Dr. Mark Brocker, a Bonhoeffer expert. We will be reading from Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Writings, edited by Robert Cole and published by Orbis Books. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase on Sundays at coffee hour with Fr. Torvend. The book sells for $20. Cash or a check made out to Christ Church will be accepted. The books are available only for those who will be participating in the Course. Let Fr Torvend know if you have budget constraints at the moment: a small number of books will be available for loan.
